Guest Legendary Tinter
Ok, just remote started a durango, with a DEI 562t. Worked great when it pulled out. And now the check engine light is on, we cleared the codes. and they came back. now she says the remote start does not even work, I am relatively sure the unit is wired in properly, I did this one myself. Anyone ever had a similiar experience. very confused in ohio?
Mr paladin
If you have a spare brain or module swap it out if it still doesn't work it's the wiring,if it does work it is the module.
wndotint
there are 2 ignition and 2 acc. wires that need to be powered up if I remember correctly. Dark Blue, Green/Red for ignitions, and Black/Orange and Green for Acc. I know the Rams have 2 ign. and 2 acc. needed, and I think the Durango is the same. If this is not the case, check the ign. and acc. wires you've accessed with a test light while remote start is running, and make sure they are getting powered up. Guest Legendary Tinter
Well, I think I figured it out, I had to wire a second accessory in this fine unit, some you do, and some you don't. Oh well so goes, thanks for the input though.
