Guest drupason
Ok I did some searching but couldnt find much of anything, maybe im not using the right terminology? My question is how do you guys handle roll down windows that when you roll them down new glass keeps becoming exposed from in the door frame? I am finding these cuts tricky!!! Thanks in advance! Guest solarspot
Just depends on the vehicle, but some windows just roll that way and others shift around when rolled down. Example is the Chevy Tahoe it rolls down more to the front exposing the back edge of the window when half rolled down. I would lay my film on cut the back side from the bottom up only 7 or 8 inches up then trim the front now roll the window down to do the top edge. Now you can cut the rest of the back side and the top. Carry to your peeler and do a final trim on the back side. You may have to play with it to get it perfect but this will get you very close. So I guess I saying is don't do all you triming with the window up like you can on some windows.
