TintWizard
rear defogger lines can only be fixed with a conductive paint especially made for the job..hard to do with tint and will show up . What yr is the car ? The only way that kind of damage to wires can be done is if : 1. It was already like that ,but you didn't notice it till the tint was put on. 2. The tinter used a razor to the back window (unless he's a COMPLETE newbie tinter, you give him the benefit of the doubt that he didn't do that)

TintWizard
The odds are they were already damaged whoever owned it for the last 6-7 yrs ..if its a hatchback , then it happens often when people but things in the back, close the hatch and the back glass strikes the item that was placed in the back..not saying this is the case ...but a much greater possibility that the wires were damaged through normal wear and tear of vehicle usage rather than a tinter that worked on the back window for 45 min...it just takes the tint to show it up.
