  1. I am here to seek out tint installers opinions on the work. An objective and fair installer who installs high quality tints would fairly be able to say yes a 3” scratch on a $300 windshield tint is not acceptable and shitty work. Etc. I wanted opinions. All I’ve found is excuses and cop outs. If something has done something creative for me, they are being PAID to perform the job properly. They didn’t do me a free favor. Wake up. You get paid to perform at a certain level. If you’re half assed? The market will speak. Why do you keep mentioning German cars? Who cares. I’ve owned Japanese cars, Italian cars. You sound dense. Do you drive a Camaro? A Mustang that you got approved with a 580 credit score and $2500 down? Is that what we are getting at here? Lol. Who cares the country of origin. I did a ton of research before buying both my car and my girls suv. Who cares? You’re in outer space of emotion bud. Kick back, have a corona (your favorite) and relaxxxxx jeffe. Stop playing the victim. Stop making excuses. Just do a good job and everyone’s happy. Someone orders medium rare, don’t cook up a well done steak and call the customer a Karen for complaining. Que?
  2. You’re just incessantly babbling at this point going for the victim Olympics. You sound like a woman. I posted pictures, clearly showing a 3” scratch on a windshield tint. There is LITERALLY no excuse. Not that it’s relevant, but I also tipped the front desk woman who told me in 8 years managing the store she’s never been tipped. I don’t go in screaming anywhere. You asked me where I work. I’m retired. You mention it took years for people to figure out how to tint. You realize no one cares. I’m paying for a service. Simply do it right, or it’s half assed. You order medium rare steak at a restaurant, you’re the brainlet who would complain as the cook saying wow! Another Karen! When in fact, you actually just suck at your job. Take some accountability and responsibility. You don’t even see it. It’s the customers fault! It’s the customers fault! It’s not the installers being half assed with their work. It can’t be! It’s a Karen! This is feminine victim mentality you are exhibiting. Simply sack up, admit yes, these specific jobs were done half hazardly, the shop should apologize and fix it. Namaste.
  3. Audi Etron GT* well shit. If btc gets over $100k I’ll get a McLaren 750s so root for the price 😂
  4. Never heard an Audi Etron GT referred to as a Prada bag but okay lol. The irony of this entire interaction, is paying $1500 for pinnacle tint for both cars all windows, multiple issues from scratches to fingering to dust specs that you CAN FEEL WITH YOUR NAIL. These are all objectively SHITTY installs. And not one time would you ever call out your fellow installers and simply say yep. This is half assed install. Instead, you say I shop at Whole Foods and have a Prada bag car. Do ya see it champ? Self accountability. Don’t be a victim. Poor me everyone who complains about our shitty work is a Karen. Excuse. Excuse. Excuse. It is possible to just say, yep, it’s half assed work. Godspeed.
  5. Shouldn’t you be making excuses and playing the victim while not taking pride and accountability for half assed work? I’m more of a Trader Joe’s kind of guy esse lol
  6. Incorrect. I bought an Audi Etron GT and a week later bought a MB EQE suv for the girl. Get it correct. What do you drive?
  7. Again. No personal accountability. No pride in craftsmanship. Always “a Kyle or Karen”. i literally posted a pic of a 3” scratch that is beyond unacceptable, but the response is excuses and “Kyle/karen” 🤡
  8. A whole lot of excuses for a $1500 2 car tint cost. This isn’t Jimmy and Ramones Groupon tint shop. This is a high end ceramic tint that is extremely expensive. The quality NEEDS to be there and the standards met. If you can literally feel a piece of lint/etc with your fingernail from the inside, it’s a half assed install. Period. If you have a 3” scratch on the front windshield from the inside, it’s a half assed install. If the MB EQE has a massive smudge directly in the drivers vision on the windshield, it’s a half assed install. Take some accountability, pride, and workmanship in your quality of work. Sick and tired of hearing all the but this but that no it’s the customer no it’s this it’s that. No. It’s half assed work. It done correctly the FIRST time, there is zero reason for the client to come back EVER.
  9. At my wits end. cliff notes, half assed installation job on 2 cars windshield, had to argue and demand they re do it and after waiting several hours, installer admitted for second car he didnt fix the issue and just let it sit in sun. Installer and manager both agreed they saw the issue (dust/smudge) Started saying MB windshields are hard/weird etc. I demanded they take it off and re do it. Begrudgingly did it and turned out fine. second car had a 3 inch scratch in lower passenger side window. Fixed that no issue. Now its been a month and I have this issue on rear driver passenger window. I feel it from inside, its rough/scratchy. My nail can get caught on the bubble from the inside. Have no idea what could cause this? Do I go back AGAIN and this is unacceptable? There is a second bubble similar but not rough from the inside the camera didn't pick up. What would cause this to be rough from the inside? To me for $850 (audi etron gt all windows including panoramic roof and windshield pinnacle) and for a MB Eqe $600, this is a nightmare of crap work. Sucks because they did my last cars 3 years ago no issue.
