She’s back and she brought her little big words with her again! I’m changing your name to Marcy from Karen. Please make note people the new girls name shall be known as Marcy Karen Half-ass. Duchesse of the kingdom of accountability. She’s retired, a part time keyboard warrior. And president of her local H.O.A. -

All of that word salad, and what’s the cliff notes? Why would I give two shits about why the install is bad, because of fast growth, etc. I don’t need countless excuses and coping mechanisms. I paid for a service. Do the service properly. Period. There is nothing else to it. Hi, I’ll have a ribeye medium rare and a baked potato. server brings a well done tri tip and asparagus. i point out this is incorrect. server now says well hey Karen, just so you know we hired new workers, and the sky was blue today, and a raccoon video just launched on YouTube, and…. no one cares. I paid for a service. Enough of the cope. Take accountability. Be a man. Grab your two (hopefully) gonads, take some responsibility, and admit fault. I’m not sure if you have a comprehension disability, or what the exact issue is. I have objectively shown faulty workmanship (readily admitted and fixed by the shop), and yet you STILL can’t simply say….”Yes that’s shitty work. Address it with the shop and they should rectify shitty work” Me finding fault with shitty work is, “oh boy. Another Euro car guy” So anyone with above room temperature IQ, can arrive at the conclusion apparently, that “euro car guys” are much more inclined to point out SHITTY craftsmanship, than the ole Camaro and ford boys? And because of this, they are “Karen’s”? This is such a low threshold for excellence. Have some pride in your work brother. Set an example for your children. nuff said. -

You’re too low IQ to insult. But I do like Al Bundy too so at least there’s that common ground. Just take accountability for shitty work, when it’s objectively shitty. 👌🏻 -

Most of the replies from my peers have been professional. I chose not to be because of key words in the original post. I had a lot of fun. So thanks for that Karen! If you wanna stick around and beat a dead horse I could use the entertainment. We could start calling each other names? @ChipDiamond -

Yep, that's the post. Point out on the doll where I defend the shop and your feelings got hurt. After you finish, try again at comprehension 101 to infer, from context, the meaning of the first line of my post about production. I'll give you a hint since you're a little slow and pissy. A good shop will get busy after gaining a good reputation. They will need more installers. The new installers they bring on are usually not as sharp as the team that garnered their notoriety. Sales increases and the top installers are on the bigger ticket jobs and the junior installers are put into the fire to sink or swim and keep up with the sales schedule. Let's say the installer failed, the sales team is now at bat to send the car back into the bay or out on the lot for delivery. He is the second line of quality control. If the sales team fails the you are up to bat for qc. If they fail often enough the reputation will diminish and volume won't be a problem any longer. The rest of my post isn't really for you as you're not the only person reading this. It's a warning and guidance for other installers on what to expect and how to handle the Euro crowd. Thanks for making it about yourself and reinforcing my posit of general stereotypes as related prior. Installers, take note. This is run of the mill stuff here. -

VHB tape will remove the inside scratch coat right ?
I don't know if different brands hardcoat is -harder- than others. Back when I had 3M, in at least 2 cars, I've had the fronts redone just due to scratches. Hence, I'm somewhat mindful about the interiors hardhat as such
