95 degrees outside... should I park in the driveway instead of garage to help new tint dry faster?

Recommended Posts

sorry for this newbie question....

had my tint done yesterday.  it's around 95 degrees here every single day this week.

when I'm at work, it's parked in the underground garage for 8 hours during the day.  I can park outside next to my office building, but that lot is not owned by my company, which means I'll have to pay around $35 to park there during the day.

My drive home is only 20 minutes.   When I get home, I park it inside the semi-underground garage of my condo.  The only outdoor parking is for guests/visitors, but I'll have to get a temp placard.

That means the car doesn't get more than an hour of sunlight each day.  Will that affect how quickly the new tint dries? (tint is xpel prime XR plus, if that makes any difference)

Thanks!

4 hours ago, Ryker said:

It will dry slower with less heat or sun exposure but as Tintdude said, it will dry.

it's been 72 hours... but I'll wait until tomorrow(96 hours) to open the window for the first time.

well... kind of have no choice... the entry gate to my office's parking garage requires me to tap the gate sensor with a card.  The entrance is so tiny that I can't open the door to do it.   (unless I want a nasty scratch on the door edge) :(
