Lauty
Hello everyone this is my first post on the forum, very nice. Today i was tinting an old Mercedes I'm not sure the exact model of the car however when trying to wet shrink the rear windshield I first mark down an H but after that I get left off with really large tree branch looking fingers, i try to separate them the fingers don't budge, either way i continue and try to shrink the large fingers, i start from the tallest points down to the edge sometimes it works, sometimes the film gets stubborn mid way through the shrinking process, and sometimes when following the finger to shrink it never ends, I've also tinted the rear of a Pontiac firebird and it turned out clean. This is driving me crazy i don't understand. Anyways what are some of the fastest methods for tinting and why is there so many methods for things?? 👽
Dano
Dry shrink. Going wet on big fingers puts alot of stress on the film. Lauty and TNTLady

Thanks dano, i have a question tho is there a shrinking method for what i do when shrinking i first spray the glass place the tint over it, rough cut then press down an H and start shrinking those fingers from there. I dont really like other methods like dry shrinking since i dont have the tools like soap/ dryer sheets. thanks a lot
Tintguy1980
Little tough and time consuming to walk someone through the process using words. See if either of these will help: Dano, TintDude and Lauty
pbalentine
Yep, get used to it because it never ends. You can reduce frustration with tinting, but you can’t eliminate it. Dano
