Xpel stealing accounts from vendors
I've heard of Xpel doing this. In particular with preloading large dealerships with unqualified, freshly trained installers doing the work. -

Xpel stealing accounts from vendors
I wonder if the dealership itself approached them. Since you're already doing work for them with XPEL, they could reach out directly to cut out the middleman and make more money as dealerships tend to be greedy. If so, the rep should reach out to you if they are aware you service the dealer. However, if the dealership says f them and set me up directly, then I wouldn't be shocked if any brand would do it. Once again, should have reached out to your team first. Just a thought, could be completely wrong. There was a similar complaint years ago on this forum where the shop got a good client "stolen" from them by XPEL. A new version of a car came in and XPEL wanted to make patterns of it but he was a longtime customer of another dealer. In the end, the dealership is the one who contacted XPEL about the car and they had no idea about this other dealer being involved. Not quite the same issue as yours but came to mind. -

Xpel stealing accounts from vendors
So I was talking to our rep about our dealer accounts because he said he would like to know which accounts we had so they would not approach them. One month later they set up a plotter and installers in the dealership. After about 6 months they got kicked out because there work is terrible. Then they moved on to the other dealership and did the same thing. -

XPEL tends to have a lot of dealers but in my state no more than Llumar. We are the only dealer in our city, so nobody is super close to us. We don't service any dealers since they are usually cheap, so no experience with that. How are they stealing dealer accounts? -

Xpel stealing accounts from vendors
So we use xpel at our shop and have had a ton of issues with them. They are stealing our dealer accounts. Has anyone else ran into this issue. Also they make it seem exclusive however there is three xpel shops within blocks. Anyone else ran into this issue? -
