2025 Camry UVU coating on all the glass??
This coating is definitely way more durable than the LowE coatings on commercial flat glass widows. That's for sure. The first time I messed one up the razor blade skipped and it left a line in the coating. I thought I was just working with the standard "yellow" glass from Toyota and Lexus. The more I tried to mess with it the worse it got. Ended up DRY scraping the whole window to remove the coating. Once scrapped clean I couldn't tell a difference between driver and passenger. It was still yellow glass. I haven't bothered to try to test any of these new windows coming in with the new watermark. I don't want to have to scrape one clean again so I just skip the razor blade on those and tint them with a scrub pad and a plastic scraper. -

Yes, I do use blades mostly, but the yellow UVS glass isn't what I thought you were referring to... We get the low E coating on commercial and domestic and that scratches very easily. This Toyota glass is nothing like that, it's just colored differently to what we normally see on cars and I'm left wondering if we're even talking about the same type of window. -

Do you razor blade all you windows? Because all you have to do is get the angle wrong just a little bit and drag that single edge blade or make it skip and you will definitely find the low E coating that it there. Otherwise you probably would not even know it was there. -

2025 Camry UVU coating on all the glass??
I had a Rav 4 in yesterday that had that UVS marking Bham. It was just one of those door glasses that have more of a yellow color than the usual green, fairly common place on a lot of late Toyotas like Corolla, Hiace and Camry. I've yet to see any that actually have a low E coating though. -

VHB tape will remove the inside scratch coat right ?
Yes; VHB tape is strong and likely will damage the tint’s scratch coat when removed. You might test a small area first or try a low-tack adhesive instead. If you do use VHB; heating it with a hairdryer before removing can sometimes help minimize damage. -

Need help matching rear windows
I use Global QDP 35% to match that darkness. It will meter right in there once added to the front sides. You could also do a 50% over the rear windows and it will put it to match with 20% on the front. -

Halo effect is normal on front windshield when they're tinted. It's my No1 complaint about windshield installs. -
