Hi all,

I need someone sensible to offer some real world advice on films.

The car is used in a sunny, hot climate.

I'm looking between the Llumar ATR and the Solar Gard HP Supreme.

I've selected these on the basis that they are mid-range metallised, color-stable films.

Certainly the technical characteristics on paper are very similar.

I've discounted HP Charcoal on the basis that it's not color-stable, or at least not advertised as such.

I'm I'm mistaken, please correct me.

My main criteria is heat rejection and color-stability over time.

Some abrasion resistance would also be good.

Could someone more experienced offer some advice?

Thanks

Use llumar better product....solar gard hp and supreme are junk and crappy scratch coats.... I used to use solar gard for years then it seemed like their quality went down a lot..

Metalized film is pretty even across the board...I would go with the shop that has the highest quality installation/reputation.  If you are looking for heat rejection, I would skip HP and try Llumar CTX...roughly same TSER which a much higher IR Rejection.  Technically the HP will last longer in a harsh climate due to the metal, but that just depends on your area.
