Going to go with recommended express window films, unsure what series.

Recommended Posts

I've decided to go with express films as an entry level tint for my vehicle.A few guys here recommended it based on my needs. My question is which series should I go with? I have no idea what the colors look like or what 1.2,1.5 means, I was thinking thickness but then someone posted in another thread that the 1.2 was 1.5 mil.

Does anyone have a picture of the tints themselves? I want a color stable film because I live in the desert and the sun kills everything here..

So on the left in gray it's listed as 1.2. This is actually a 1.5 film. Yes you are correct that is the thickness of the film. That would be a good base starter as it is global quick dry plus. Used it for years here in nc where it stays pretty warm all summer with all the humidity. The middle is the high performance film also made by global and another good film with better heat rejection. On the right highlighted in green is the classic black series that's ewf actual film. Who it's made by I'm sure you can guess by now. Also another good film but I do believe it it's actually 1.2 I could be mistaken though. All three are color stable and as I said will last a good while. There's also a raffle going on right now through another distributor at the top of this page. I suggest going there and entering by just commenting. There's no charge or hidden agreement or anything just comment and you're entered. Welcome to the site.
