Is the smell of window film bad for health?

I installed an adhesive window film and I notice that when the sun causes the window to heat, the window film releases some sort of smell. I want to know if it is bad for health.

Wow. :blink That's a hypersensitive smeller there. :dmc

Also, I would think that if it is that obvious, that that film will not last very long. :dunno

I personally think the smell you get right as you pull the liner off is amazing. In reality it's probably just another chemical agent that'll cause cancer in 100 years. Live everyday like its your last an don't worry about it, you'll stroke out

I dont think any installers are worried about it. I think OP is just wondering if anyone has info about it. So that when a customer decides to ask you have an answer instead of scratching your head.
