Windshield film interfering with window dash computer?

Has anybody heard of interference with the in dash windshield sensor, with film on the windshield?

Never had an issue and we do tons of windshields.

We have done about 8 of them so far, 2-3 with windshields and haven't heard of anything.

Idk why it would make a difference. Display is a display I would think.

OP, did you use a metalized film?  That would be my only guess.

We'll be using suntek cxp 80%. The concern is for a sensor that reads windshield temperature and humidity to tell the climate control to use the defogger. Any problems with that?
