We did a clear nano ceramic on a 2015 chalenger. After we finished the car freaked out. The headlights flashed the horn went nuts. Did we fuck the computer? Actually i was only an observer at this shop in ohio. But i dont want to risk this scenario at my shop in kona.

I had this happen to me on a new Jeep Grand Cherokee.  I wasn't sure if it was due to unplugging the mirror, or if water got to something.  Check engine light was on and the code said it had lost connection with something.  Needless to say I damn near shat myself.  Luckily I told him that there were issues possible before hand, and he didn't care one bit.  Ever since then, I am hesitant to tint windshields on Dodge/Jeep/Chrysler products.

Just did a 2015 Durango windshield and now we have no power anywhere except the power seats and fuel door. Vehicle is being towed to the dealer now.

Go down to your nearest boat shop and buy some rope that is good at absorbing water. Get different thicknesses at or above 6-feet long. Use them to tuck into the bottom of the windshield with ends curving out for easy removal when done.

An assortment  of absorbent material in convenient applicator tubes  can be found in the ladies aisle at your local supermarket if you cannot source rope.

Everyone should have a good stock of SmartieRope. :yep:thumb
