Graphics underneath vinyl, plasti dip

I've seen graphics applied under vinyl wraps, and can be a nice subtle touch. Has anyone ever tried applying a graphic under plasti dip?

For example some Ford emblems are smooth so plasti dip would just cover it up. Stick a Ford vinyl graphic on and matte black plasti dip over it.

The front "Ford" emblem on my focus has a slight rise in the letters. I plasti dipped over it when I blacked the emblems out and it gives it the embossed look.
