2016 Corvette?

So I am going to be finally tinting one. Are they as flat on the back window as they look? Anything special to know?

All New Vette owners are sensitive , I inspect my film for QC/debris straight out the box. and florescent inspect the inner and outer glass surface before film application,since the OEM glass in the 2015 Model looked like it was Tempered in a dirty oven.

Well unless it's changed from the previous model sides are harder than the back. I just shrink top and bottom on the sides.

Fingers are not that bad on the front sides to have to shrink the top part of the film assuming that one knows how to shrink the film properly. And yes, the back window is very flat compared to the previous models.

Did one the other day. Was a convertible so the rear window was small and simple. Taped up the edges on the convertible just in case I heat or cut near the soft top. Sides I just shrink on the bottom and install. Pretty straight forward job.

Super easy, back is flat, doors must shrink top as well...   easy upsell.  If doing the Shield, cover your display.

What are you guys doing special to the back windows where the little vette flags are in the fritt at the top of the glass. I warned my customer about the transition line that some people get when tinting. Ive tried some heat and working at them a bit but Im stuck with the transition. Id like to make it a bit better but not sure how

Looks cool to me as long as its uniform, air highlights flags, but I like vettes in general. Just on here to say get a good look at sill plates, before you take car in. Clear plastic covers at dealer dig in when door gets closed, do not accept blame and/or pay for this. WARNING.

How do you reset locks on 2016 stingray. had the latches flipped down to tint the windows, Flipped them back up and went to shut the doors and the latches didn't want to release to open the door. Happened on the rear hatch too didn't even mess with those.

Hold the inside handle to open as you pull the latch out with a hook tool screw driver.
