This morning we were host at the shop for the Beaverton area Chamber of Commerce coffee connection. It's held every Friday from seven thirty till nine. Great way to meet local business leaders and network.

Today was our second time to host and it was very successful as well as fun! If you are not a member of your local Chamber you should check it out!

We gave away a gift certificate for hundred dollars and a nice gift basket along with a steering wheel lock system. Provided coffee and pastries for around 75 local business leaders in exchange we have all these leaders talking about us and that translates to lots of business

Nice job Stan, I think if a shop has good local presence, the COC can be a great tool to market your services to other influential, or decision makers in the area. A few hundred dollar, "good will", investment in coffee and donuts can go a long way. ... I wish our market area was not so wide spread.
