Why does this film series have a Purple, rainbow effect? 

 

This is common in most to all high-end ceramic films. What you're seeing with the "rainbow effect" is actually the light bouncing off the film in multiple wavelengths. Where in most situations, you wouldn't normally see this in films, you do with Ceramic films because of the polarization effect that you also experience when wearing a polarized pair of sunglasses. These glasses, just like the film, are using specific frequencies in wavelengths to bounce the light and reflect it elsewhere. Hence, the immense benefits of using such products to block different rays from the sun that can't be met on a simple light spectrum using ordinary films. Let me know if this helps.

Rayno does sound a lot more Americanized than Spectrum.  I'm glad to see Korean companies like Rayno doing their thing now.  So much hate, with good reason ofc, on korea-made film on these forums for the past 6 years.  The tides are turning.... LLumar anyone?

Non laminated? No dyes, No metals? TSER's are only a few points off between best(s9) and medium(s7)?

Buy some MEK and soak a sample... it'll tell you whether or not a product is a laminate. Some products come apart in 24 hours or less, others take weeks.
