i bag it on hot days outside, normally comes off pretty good but use steamer a lot too if i dont have time to wait

We typically bag the rear window and steam the sides while waiting for the rear.

:yeah Bagging allows the freedom to move to other tasks, while in wait.

Film removal..... We are on a job now that has 1500 SF of something that looks like Dusted Crustal but more silver gray.. And it's vinyl... Been there for probably 10 years. Steamer takes the film off fine but the glue stays. It sucks. The removal portion is per hour and I would not do it any other way. They originally wanted a firm price to R&R the film.. No way.

Sometimes i use the steamer to remove the glue. For the nasty adhesive that leaves that layer behind after scrappping i steam in small areas and steam in front of the blade as i scrape. Comes off completely in one swipe.

I boil tint off with 45000 btu of heat ; the nastiest of back window film failure will come off
