Vinyl wrapping safe from brakeheat?

Hello, i want to wrap my rims, but im concerned the heat from the brakes may melt or even burn the vinyl wrapping. Any experiences with this? Should i order heat resistant vinyl wrap or will i be fine?

  I'm sure a call to the parts dept of your local VW dealership will confirm availability. There are also plenty of aftermarket auto glass manufacturers in the world. If I can locate just about any piece of car glass here in Australia, I'm sure it won't be too hard wherever you are. There's always used available too.
