Contamination issues

I am having contamination issues with one of my tinters. We use scotts blue shop towels as well as micro fiber towels. I think the Large towels we use to cover dash boards as well as our micro fiber towels are the ones causing issues. What is the best micro fiber towel and also what is the best large size towel for dash/ rear coverage.

I use a single well washed bath towel. No need for anything fancy.

I've never had much luck with the micro fibers. What does the contamination that you are getting look like? Also I use the blue shop towels as well.

Microfibers, but after they have been washed.

Thank you, the contaminations mainly seem to be small hairs. Every once in a while little dots in the film like small piece of dust but mostly it is small hairs. I have also washed the micro fibers many times.

It's the micro fibers. Switch to just the blue shop towels and I bet it will reduce drastically. I had the same issue.

We only use the microfiber towels after the film is installed.  We don't use any towels to clean/prep windows prior to installation.

If you guys are only using the blue shop towels how are you cleaning off glass on the outside to outline the window to cut. We do cutting on the vehicle, and when windows come in super dirty we need to wipe off and the blue shop towels see to be to abrasive to use for cleaning purposes.

Wash the vehicle, at least the top half. Its the best way to do it right. Get a professional wash brush and some shammys.
