basscatcher9 Posted March 7, 2016 Report Posted March 7, 2016 I was wondering if anyone makes a reverse mirror film? I need to tint the outside of a door with the mirror on the inside. I can't tint the inside of the door because it is on the inmate side and they peel it off the windows. Any suggestions? Thanks
WearTheFoxHat Posted March 7, 2016 Report Posted March 7, 2016 Did you want a mirror mirror film for glass or on the wall? Are you the prettiest tinter of them all? I'm not a physics major but I'm pretty sure any mirror film reverses everything. Is this an interior install for both sides of the glass?
basscatcher9 Posted March 7, 2016 Author Report Posted March 7, 2016 It's in a jail cell they are wanting the mirror on the inside towards the inmates and the correction officers to be able to see in when they are doing cell checks, but I have to tint it on the outside of the glass
Ocala Posted March 7, 2016 Report Posted March 7, 2016 If the prisoner side is brighter, Llumar RN07 will work.
basscatcher9 Posted March 7, 2016 Author Report Posted March 7, 2016 yes the jail cell is bright and the hallway is dark
jh812 Posted March 7, 2016 Report Posted March 7, 2016 Yeah just a regular dual reflective film would work. You can get a 5% from express window films.
DOOTINT Posted March 7, 2016 Report Posted March 7, 2016 Lumar has R15 G and Global had Silver/Grey 5% long time ago I need to get another roll of stuff like that,,kinda have it forever for the few interior glass that it works nice on,,actually works better than the backside of the glass with 5% DR stuff The county jail was one place, lol
DOOTINT Posted March 7, 2016 Report Posted March 7, 2016 If the prisoners can touch the glass?,,without getting clubbed?lol,,then you don't want reverse mirror film I think Use a 5%DR on the backside
