Tips for tinting the Chevrolet Cruze

 

1. Rear brake light can be removed via 2 15 torx screws from within trunk. (need long bit/screw driver)(easy)

2. connection to wiring harness has secondary locking clip (grey) remove, black connection little tricky to remove sometimes.(easy)

Nothing needs removal on that car, why complicate your day?

Why not remove the brake light. A few seconds and it is out of the way. No need to press the deck down to open it up or fight the film getting behind.

I use to easily install the tint behind the light without issue with the bulldozer like so many others where removing the light isn't easy or an option but in this case, it does make sense for an easier install for the time it takes [emoji106]

I take the brake light out too. Takes all of 5 seconds and makes reverse rolling my film on easier.

These cars are a snap! Peel the door panel tips back and lift out the brushes so you can get your roll up bottom edges down far
