Tinting brown windows

Hi, I bought a blue 2015.5 Silverado High Country 2500. It has brownish smoked rear windows. I'd like to get dark tint.
Has anyone put limo tint on the back windows? Does it look black, or have a tint of brown?

Dealer put green tint on my front sides which looks horrible with the brown rears.

I'm hoping if I go with 15% on the front sides and 5% in the back (with a black tint such as LLumar ceramic) it will look good. Has anyone done this with brown smoked windows?
Thanks

Yessir,, what Dynamic said  :yeah   You can go with either Global QDP or QDP-C 20% and be just fine on the factory match for a Chevy.  Your clean factory glass in the rear meters 20% on the nose.  20% Global will meter 17% on the front 2  :thumb

Factory privacy glass in the rear of any vehicle, by federal laws, can not be darker than 22% max. your meter must need calibration because I have never metered the rear of any van/truck/suv that was under 22%vlt. So with that said, putting 20% on the front doors will put it at 16-17%vlt and the rear will be 22% with the front doors being 5% darker than the rear.

Um. No. Meter is brand new and every newer Chevy truck meters at 20% - dead on the number. -- TUNDRA ALSO!! :thumb

Brand new meter doesnt mean its calibrated correctly. and look at alot of the GM trucks Suvs, most say right on the stamp on the glass "22% MIN" on it

Tahoe back sides state on the glass 17 +- some percent and back glad is like 13. So "all must be 22% is not correct.
