Roach and others, How quickly are you mobile again after a snow like this? That's another part of snow I don't like. The immobility, coupled with freezing.

Yeah it must be a total pain.

That would be the only time I would want to live within walking distance of everything. Normally I would want my neighbors as far off as I can get them, but if I had to live where I got snowed in, it would have to be centrally located.

I couldn't do it, I hate feeling trapped.  The only way I could live up north is if I had a place to stay at during the Spring/Summer/Fall time periods.
