Mobile tint business for sale!
evening folks, I’m placing my trailer that is setup as a mobile tint shop for sale, thought I would post it here first.. the reason I’m posting is because I enlisted into the army and by ppl pay while start basic training this coming January. Trailer comes as is with a plotter, tint rack, several boxes of maxpro tint and other tint tools for starting off. I became a citizen this past year and I felt it in my heart to serve and give back to what this beautiful country has given me and my family! Anyways I’m listing everything for $19,000! Risk of Thermal Fracture Incorrect film selection or application can lead to serious problems: Different glass types require specific tint films to avoid thermal stress Professionals can assess your windows and recommend appropriate films They understand the relationship between glass thickness, size, and tint darkness 3. I just realized this forum might be only for the professional tinter. I'm a DIY'er and was hoping to get some expert advice on selecting the best "home product" to apply to my windows on my home in order to reduce/control the heat coming through the windows. If this is not allowed, maybe someone can point me in the right direction for DIY. Thank you! -

Gull wing system install
Both can be challenging; Gullwing already has the adhesive with a liner that needs to be removed and pressure applied to seat the adhesive with as few air pockets as possible. Any hiccups means a do over with each strip. Think about how it would look from the outside, not to mention the task of keeping it evenly aligned as you move along each strip. Practice makes progress, not perfection. I've got a few feet of white left over from my days in the industry and I can assure anyone will be challenged to install the stuff. What I have is predecessor of Gullwing and I cannot remember what they called it back then. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dow995 structural sealant is akin to working with peanut butter; it can be messy, but once dry it has a much cleaner look to a Gullwing with air pockets trapped. Sealant can easily drip or contact unwanted surfaces, making clean up fun. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Either way, if there's any need for removal after a lengthy period of time, it could be work intensive to not do damage to the frame. Also, for both, you are best of waiting no less than one week film dry time (sun exposure and or warm and dry weather conditions) before applying any anchoring system, lest you find yourself with film lift in areas where the anchoring system was under stress to pull away.
