PPF install quality - your opinion please!

I had 3M Scotchgard paint protection film put on a Touareg today. I expected the film to have clean coverage and edges that followed the contour of the mirrors and front bumper, which is where I had it installed. There wasn't much opportunity to look at the job closely at the shop, so I started looking it over tonight and am surprised to see gaps.

Please see the pictures below. Are my expectations off or should I be heading back to the shop?

Thanks for your feedback!

Thank you for your very clear feedback!

Bumper + mirrors: $499

The shop does great work on window film, but this paint protection job is a disappointment.

I've contacted the installer and am waiting for an answer.
