? For you PPF pros on here.

Recommended Posts

I have a friend wanting me to do some PPF on a 2012 Toyota Prius V and the Color is - Classic Metallic Silver and he would like me to do the hood, fender, back of mirrors, pillars, most of front bumper and headlights.

Any tips or advice, I would appreciate it.

Bumper might be a challenge, but I think you can figure it out. That car isn't hard IMO. I would suggest a kit for you on that one.

Yea he was looking at buying a pre-cut kit.

Why do you suggest a pre-cut kit ..........?

I have tried ( not real hard) to do some PPF on the fenders of my tractor. Did not go real good. I think it is more stretching as a posed to shrinking. I know I could not charge someone to do it!

I have done glass before with PPF, It was a glass dome and I had posted a thread a while back on the outcome, I did the outside and inside of it and it turned out great.

I never tried it on a auto though.
