What Price to Tint a Car

Hey Guys, I am involved with tint in the UK. I am curious to compare UK prices with Oz.

What sort of prices do you charge for tinting

1. A small car

2. A larger car - perhaps Range Rover

Information that has absolutely no relevence to our market.

The overall auto OZ market is still stuck in the stoneage from what I understand of it nationally after getting feedback from wholesalers and at a guess I'd say it's probably averaging about $260.

It's not my cup of tea and I never let the market dictate my lifestyle just because someone else is whoring the market....that's their problem.

The price to apply window film to a vehicle will vary in almost every single case, those variables include location, market demand, vehcile type, film type, work load of the installer and overheads. A franchise owner in many cases does not install the film, and has high overheads in rent and franchise fees before he evens purchases films at inflated prices. A quality film installer would want to be paid well for his quality work and the years of loses from trial and error in becoming a class installer. So there seems that there will always be room for a new kid on the block that will buy cheap film and offer cheap prices, with a tail light warranty. So, it would be in no way possible that a guess at an average price, in an average area would in any help you decide on a price range for your business in a completely foreign country.

But in short Devil is right, it's around $260. But if you asked me that question 15 years ago, I would have said around $300. So it looks pretty sad for the future. Hopefully we can get together and put a stop to the decline.
