Tell me What you Think

Out of all the Customers I have about 80% of them ask me what they should use to clean their windows before I even tell them...So I was thinking of carrying a Ammonia Free/Tint Safe Window Cleaner...

Now I know I'm not going to get rich with this but just sitting here doing the Math, If you can buy for 2 - 3$ a can In Bulk and Sell for 5$ or more and depending on how many cars you do, just selling 1 can a day for every day you are open. Like I said before I know im not going to get rich.

I just think this is a great idea and some people might already do this. I think just having it, 50% of the 80% of the people are going to buy it there. Cause I know my custys love a clean window and hate it when its not clean....

What do you think??

Sometimes if I'm in a good mood I will just give the customer a can of spray a way (glass cleaner I like to use). I know of a place that sells some stuff called film chem. It actually is some pretty good stuff. It makes the film a lot smoother like a wax for tint. I compared the sparyaway and that stuff and hands down film chem did what it said. They sold it for 10 a bottle and said he would recommend it with every tint job. Try the stuff out if you want I like it but I wouldnt want to pay 10 bucks for a bottle of cleaner..

I still keep invisible glass cleaner at the shop for sell at all times. $5 for a can and a huck towel. Custy love it. However I really wanna go private label with my glass cleaner, but I like invisible glass. And they will not do private label. Sprayway is the only one I know of that does, and I do not like how foamy their glass cleaner is. :twocents

Yeah I have the Invisible Cleaner, never have sold it though never really thought about it before until everyone keeps on asking its just came to mind....And surfing Ill have to try the Film Chem you are talking about....making the tint smooth sounds interesting....

I always thought it got smooth if you didn't clean the glass and smoked enough in your car. :lol2

you might also like VuPlex it puts a smooth friction free coating on tint and also and makes it harder to scratch. A bit dearer but I price it into all my jobs and give my custys a free can with their car/house and tell them I recommend it above all else = regular sales from custys that keep coming back for more. (Also good for fine scratches in tint during install, spray on thick, let it dry for a while wipe off, and repeat, seems to diminish the scratch a bit)
