Slip for Oracal 8300

Recommended Posts

Hello all. This is my first post in this forum. I hope to be helpful.

I use a mixture of 80% water and 20% glass cleaner. Definitely works better than water-soap solution for me.

I've been doing a good amount of 8300 on tail & headlights recently. Definitely get/use a steamer (you will be amazed how well the film takes the wet heat versus dry heat from a heatgun). As for slip:

1 spray bottle of very hot water (trigger sprayer)

1 tiny, small, drop of Baby shampoo

The film will lay down with just water very well, the only thing is if you miss a small amount of water somewhere squeegeing out, your done, ha that water isn't goin no where. So the 1 drop just allows you a bit more forgiving install.
