What VLT do most of you use of police cars?

Whatever is legal for the state. The cops are not exempt here and I make sure they know it...

I do a lot of 5% rear sides, 20% rear window, and the front two varies from nothing down to 20%. Our Sheriffs department doesn't allow film on their vehicles. When the former sheriff allowed film, the officer had to pay for it out of pocket. The City Police is their choice and the City pays for it.

Patrol, detective, or K9? I do a lot of all of them. Most of the time for me its been at the Chief/Sheriff/SO's discretion how dark he'll allow the cars to be they have exempt status here.

General patrol cars around here don't normally get anything, if they do it's 35%.

Detectives are usually 20% or 5% the whole way around.

K9 units I do in 5% for the rears and 35% up front. I will say I had to talk the guys out of 20 up front. It didn't take much cause they were all bitching they couldn't see anyway.

cops here are to get exemption from DMV just like the rest if they desire darker than legal ....

For Virginia, Emergency and or state cars are exempt, But for the most part who the hell is going to give them a ticket if they aren't exempt....I recently got the Narcotics Division for the City, which the K9's work with them, but I have only done one K9 so far...But undercover cars I have been doing 10% rears and 30% fronts with a 7inch 5% visor....It is hard to see in them,,,

I mostly do cop cars in 35% or 20 %. If a cop asks for 5%. I explain to them how hard it will be to see out of at night, and with their blue lights on it will lightup the inside of the car. So I can normally switch them back to 20% once I show them the performace rates of my film.

we have done 20% on back half of K9 units, the officers get 35% all around if they want it, which is legal, most of the patrol cars are tinted legal if we tint them, their personal vehicles tho, that is another story lol

a few months back my comp down the street made a big fuss about cops having their personial vehicles tinted ilegally. He asked a local judge why it was ok for the cops to wirte people tickets for their tint, but have their own vehicles tinted to dark. Judge made the cops strip their personial vehicles if they were ilegal. needless to say he pissed off every cop in our small town. Talk about dumb azz moves.
