White residue on doors after tinting

I have white residue on my doors after my tint job. Looks like someone wiped the door and had something on the rag. I tried using 409 to get it off and when wet it appears to go away but it comes right back after it dries. Anyone have any idea how to get it off? Thanks.

:facepalm2 disregaurd my last post.

:reading:blind:wall:puter ..........Yeah It is something else on the panel that is making that...Like TD said all we use is soapy water...Unless the panel is so dirty the soapy water clean it up a little bit and you see where the soapy water ran down the panel before... It happened to me once with a car that was so dirty just a little soapy water cleaned it for them....Other than that I dont know???

409 cleaner & your door panel = not good

I didn't realize that at first. I only used it on one area and then tried soap and water. Any idea what else I can try to remove it, or what it is?

Try griots garage interior cleaner...takes almost an anything off a panel...order it online or see if your local advance auto parts has it. We use it for detailing all the time, the stuff works wonders...spray it on the panel then rub it in pretty good with a clean rag.
