Air 80 (Clear) Question

In cases of stock tint/coatings, such as on most SUVs and minivans, am I correct in offering Air 80 film to apply over the stock coating?

I assume most OEM tinting is an actual coating/glaze applied to the glass during production and not a removable film.

So the Air 80 will help keep out the heat, while keeping the stock tinted look.

Just wondering if I am correct or way off base.

Thanks, in advance.

Adding AIR 80 to auto privacy (old privacy) will boost heat rejection to about 60-65% and UV will virtually be non-existent.

If it's the new Pilkington privacy heat rejection will be in the neighborhood of 75% and UV ever more nonexistent since this new privacy glass alreadyabsorbs UV by 95% and rejects 65% solar heat.
