Auto Tint - TSER Comparison

I'm trying to find the tint with the best heat blocking qualities - another Houston customer [poke poke... Kats or TintJunkie] and I dont have visibility concerns as long as its legal up front (in Texas 25% visibility).

Some quantify IR rejection but all provide a TSER rating - so I'll write those and hopefully some Xperts will chime in with some excellent info. Pikcing what seems to be the best TSER line for each manufacturer and I'll start with a brand I haven't seen on this site yet:

SunTek - CarbonXP [CXP35] - TSER: 53%

3M - Crystalline [CR40] - TSER: 60%

Huper Optik X-treme Performance [Drei] - TSER: 70%

Madico - Wincos [30 PS SR] TSER: 59%

Comments / Concerns:

SunTek - CarbonXP [CXP35]

1.

3M - Crystalline [CR40]

1.

Huper Optik X-treme Performance [Drei]

1.

Madico - Wincos [30 PS SR]

1. Hazy

Highest TSER rules! :thumb

IR is a single regional measurement whereas the TSER # includes includes all 3 (Visible, IR, UV) regions of energy. Go with the total sum. :twocents

VQ is right.

Depending on your location, Tintjunker is in Cypress ( cypresswindowtinting.com) , another quality installer in Humble is Paladin (humbletint.com). A company in SugarLand called Sunshield is your contact for the Huper Drei.

Notice one thing about these places? They are all specialty glass tinting businesses. Not a tire store or stereo shop

with a "window tint" banner out front. That's your best bet at finding a true pro. :D

VQ hit it on the head. We sell based in TSER and not IR.

We shut our retail auto shop down in August, but Im not opposed to doing a Wincos tint job. Ive got some leftover stock that I dont want to waste.

Oh, out of those 4, based on performance, you know which performs better. Scratch the Suntek and 3M. I dont carry Huper, nor do I want to install in on a car. I believe the Drei only comes in one shade. Wincos comes 20% 30% 45% & 60% VLTs
