I have the ewf LDA 70%, is this light enough to be legall. The law says untinted and clear but I do not want to push the film if it will come back to get me. Plus I want to put it on my truck, but don't want to get pulled over..

Your in Texas right?? At least your flag is that have you moved?? But Texas is AS-1 Line, 25% Fronts and Any behind them...

Are you asking for the front W/S? But yeah like C 2 C said market as UV Blocker...Legal or Illegal cause most people wont want something that light...For the most part At least...

That's all I want to market it as a uv/heat blocker.

Sunscreening devices can be applied to the windshield if all of the conditions below are met.

Sunscreening devices must be applied above the AS-1 line. If there is no AS-1 line, sunscreening devices must end five inches below the top of the windshield.

Sunscreening devices may not be red, amber, or blue in color.

Sunscreening devices, when measured in combination with the original glass, must have a light transmittance value of 25% or more.

Sunscreening devices, when measured in combination with the original glass, must have a luminous reflectance value of 25% or less.

A clear (un-tinted) UV film is allowed anywhere on the front windshield without a medical exemption being required.

What is considered clear? Who sells it

The film is also not a loud to be mirror or metalic for the Eye brow on the w/s....And Llumar makes a clear film its 85%..Any film is going to have a percentage...3M has a 90% film...

But you are a loud to 5% or paint pretty much as your eye brow on the front w/s...And another interesting face I was reading and it states that if the AS-1 line is further down than 5inchs u may not tint below the AS-1 line...Just to let you know...Found that to be pretty interesting..
