tntautoglass
Will defrost lines rip off while removing old film from back glass? I have a 02 Trans am R&R tomorrow. The film was originally installed in Michigan about 6 years ago. Whats the best way to handle this with customer and removal? Thanks.

Guest just scotty
sweating....straight ammonia, then garbage bag it all on inside, explain to customer no warranty on defooger lines if any, sunny day really helps...infact imperitive, or buy a steamer, and play around, personally steamers suck, but winter is here, and yah need a steamer during winter to do a good job, (many tinters have different methods), or just scrape the heck out of it, good luck
Guest VaTinterPMan
Yeah bag it.....Tape a Trash Bag on the outside Sit it in the sun...But also have a trashbag on the inside of the car too But spray ammonia every 15mins or 10 mins if u have the time and do that for a hour maybe two depending on how sunny it is...And than waalaaa you should of been able to safe the defrosters....I have only lost on set of defrosters to this method....but god only knows how long the tint was on that car..... coast2coasttinting
either bag it or steam in off. Either way let it get hot and pull slowly.
