Single Cab Rear Window Tint

I haven't found really anybody with the same dilemma as me. Basically, I have 5% (or limo tint), and I have yet to consider it limo status. I don't even consider it 5% status. There is almost never a time when I can't see through my back glass, and that bothers me.

The problem is I can't go darker. Nothing darker than 5% exists as a single layer so I'm told. I can't layer tint because nobody warranties it and it peels off, yet so many people out there seem to do it.

My only option is to get an entire new piece of glass, only factory tinted (which I found out means just dark glass, so stop acting like you have layered tint) and tint over that to get something below 5%.

Or....is there something else I can do? Do I even have 5% to begin with?

Take a look.

Now I was told because I have a single cab this is how the tint is unfortunately going to look. But I have seen a few single cab trucks that have some super dark tint on the back.....and I am curious as to how.

I doesn't matter who's 5% you use. Because it is a straight shot through to the clear windshield it will look lighter. Same thing happens to car with really light interior. I can put 30% on a car with tan interior and it looks light. That same film on a car with black interior will look much darker.
