Suntek carbon question

Recommended Posts

So I have been using johnson renegade for the last 8 months or so and have been semi happy with it. It shrinks nice, feels thick, and does not scratch easy. What I dont like is the greenish hue you get with the 20% and even more with the 35.

I have had several comments about the green color from customers who got the 35.

I am using Suntek for my flat glass stuff and wanna use them for auto too. How is the carbon really? Any film will scratch with a roughed up hard card, but under normal installation conditions is it OK?

Also from the guys who use it often...whats the better match for factory glass, the 18 or 25?

Thanks

I started using it again recently with no problems. Like you mentioned, any film will scratch with a roughed up hard card. I wrap everything in a wet paper towel.

For factory matching the 18 is good for vehicles like chevy/gmc, but you'll need the 25 too for lighter privacy glass.

Guest just scotty

just installed cxp 45 sample roll, little rigged but shrinkable, VERY forgiving, and compared to other major manufacutors product cxp's clarity is exceptional, but I've only used nun-sun, sun gard solar gard (my preferance) johnsons, global (using now w/max pro he's an idiot clarity of both these films is marginal at best) gila river and alig, and you can throw in some madico and probably a few others v-kool all of these films made us money the most important factor, but the cxp I used is top of the line, thanks austin
