TintWizard
For the garage sizes you're looking for, if it's an option, I would go for something a little bit wider for those two-door cars... even an extra one or 2 feet in width would be huge because two-door cars of a wider wingspan so to speak
coast2coasttinting
if I were to have something built. Then I would want a garage any smaller then 20x25. With a 14x24 you will run out of space and feel cramped right of the bat.
Ryker
The kicker here is that you can use that small of a space, but you will not have any room for anything else. If you only plan to do small cars or at the most newer 4 door cars then you will be fine, but bring in a 3500 4 door truck and you will be packing that building out. I am looking at building and I want 24 foot just for the vehicle with another 6 to 8 feet for workbench, tools, or whatever in front. Then on the width I have worked in spaces that are 14 foot wide and you are fighting with opening and closing the doors just to move around. You could do it, but for the cost to get something more like 20 foot wide and 30 deep you will be much more happy. As for the door you can fit most with 10 foot wide, but will be watching the mirrors on most full size trucks. I am looking at 14 foot doors. TintWizard
That is a good dimension . I have a commerial and a home shop. My home shop is 24' x 15' . I can do anything from a dually f350 and under in it. It CAN be done but isn't fun with trucks . The plus side is its cheap for my AC and heating costs but ideally if I had my way ( the foundation was already pre existing so that's why I worked withit) I would have it 30 x at least 20'
Brandonrob23
I built a garage last summer, 25' wide 27' deep...9 ft oversize single door. and it works out great..for any vehicle. I can fit 2 small cars in there sometimes and all lifted trucks fit, besides the obnoxiously high ones, very rare though. Don't cram yourself in there..you'll go crazy

coast2coasttinting
I would make it as big as you can. You be want all the room you can get. Once you do a couple full size trucks in your garage.
