Guest mini702
I'm about to get my feet wet doing my 3 vehicles, and as I live in the Vegas desert I'm looking at the TSErj specs for a ~35% VLT. EWF 35 @ 44 Pinnacle 35 @ 54 InsulatIR 30 @ 61 Am I going to notice the 10-17 point difference and is it worth the extra moola? The color isn't a huge factor and the vehicles are older with practically flat glass.
coast2coasttinting
the isulatIR film is a really good film for the money. You might want to get some of the 30% while you can. I think they are only going to continue to make that film in 40% and nothing any darker.
Guest mini702
I wanted to add but couldn't edit... Pinnacle 30 @
lostinbama
You probably won't be able to buy some of those as a consumer. Just a thought...

coast2coasttinting
I never thought of using a SEMA badge to tint with. Do you use it for a hard card or something. I am confused how it would make your tint work any better.
Guest mini702
The SEMA Show badge reference was supposed to dispel the notion that I couldn't buy certain films. So I understand the IR film radiates a bunch of heat? What kind of temps are we talking? Enough to prematurely age rubber seals or melt vinyl door panels? Call formula 1 and see if you can buy it, sema badge, business license or whatever...
