carguard
I have seen finished cut patterns of PPF which were cut all the way through along with the liner but the adjacent film portions were not weeded. How can a PPF be cut all the way through along with the liner so that there is no need for weeding. I am sure its not possible using plotters. Or may be I am missing a cutting technique that cuts the PPF along with the liner?

Guest Invisibra.net
My Graphtec fc8000 series had a 'plunge' setting, that would cut along like a sewing needle. You would then be able to 'unzip' the parts out of the pattern. I was using it for Clearplex windshield film, and it did work 'reasonably' well, but not great. Never tried it on PPF.
