Hello, I am happy I found this site, you guys have some amazing pics of work you have done !!!

We are looking at having our front windows of our home tinted. I am not sure what the usual look is and how to determine what we are even looking for.

Our front windows are all southern exposure so we get all the sun ! So it is nice sometimes but not so nice to our leather sofa, our flooring etc. In the summer the house gets very warm and is hard to air condition, although during the winter we use the sun to assist in heating the house.... I know I probably can't have the best of both worlds. Should I tint all the windows or just the upper ones?

Not sure how to post a pic of my house on here now :(

:thumb Beautiful home, I like the log style and the rock chimney. If that is South exposure, I would recommend installing film on all of them to help reduce sun damage. As far as look of the film goes, I would highly recommend that whatever you consider be sure to have samples installed. Look at them inside and out, day and night. Film is like paint, it does not look the same in the same card as it does on the window. High heat rejection is important, not just for comfort but it is also a factor in sun damage so filter out as much as you resonably can especially if you are at altitude. 30%-50% vlt range would look nice on that home and performance and looks will vary so look at all of your options. We produce some films that would look really good and not detract from the architecture, if you are interested I can forward you info and locate a local dealer for you.
