pbalentine
I always do a precut, shrink and then do a final cut. Recently I did a couple suvs w/o doing a final cut because there wasn't much curve. Since there a many back glass's that are pretty flat, like the Ford Focus & Fusion. Im wondering if I can just do the final trim, shrink and install. Just looking to save some time, especially when working with 5% and the matrix is hard to see in spots. Ryker
for me the time to do a final check and final cut along with the entire shrink process is only a few minutes so I don't get worried about it. I like the extra film at the top and bottom just in case I have some issue with the shrink. Only time I will not have the extra film is if there is not room on the glass...... bobwires
no - I think I will always final cut to check my work. Last thing I want to do is roll it out only to find a flaw after it's squeegied.
