How sweet would A commercial be in our industry....

It would be really nice but the unfortunate is the high cost of TV advertising compared with the total gross sales of our industry; nother words, the industry isn't large enough to afford constant TV exposure through paid advertizing (At least that is what was told to me by a well-placed industry source).

You'll note local to middlemen guys doing it but they really are not saturating the airwaves enough for it to really grow their business and justify ROI; maybe give a spike until money to fund becomes more scarce. :whattodo

it would be nice for mannys to promote their films to the public.

CPF use to do it until the new management of 7 or so years ago pulled the plug on the number of print media they advertise in. There has been a tremendous drop (like a rock) in the number of leads provided their dealers since funding was cut.

Makes sense. Yet I can't fully agree because my driveway is concrete and I have three OLD oak trees next to it and it way beyond a sealing or patch job. :lol

Maybe that's how I view this situation, concreted into old ways that are less forgiving to conditions surrounding it, like the oak trees. It would be up to your own interpretation as to what they respresent....

I guess my point being...I am still shocked day in and day out the overall unawareness of this product. It seems people that we get calls from stumble upon it under their own accord. How many people get picked off at blinds and shades before they make it to window film in their searches? Thanks to the internet, I beleive people are now able to be more aware of their options. :twocents

JWF provides it's dealers with a long and short TV ad. They can add your biz name and contact info to the end of it too. However you have to pay for the air time. Like others have said it is way to costly to make a good profit on. Atleast on a small biz scale. If the manny's stepped up and ran adds. Our film would cost even more then they do now. Very catch 22 indeed.
