big enough PO box?

Recommended Posts

Can you get a PO box big enough to fit a full size roll of film in? Or multiple rolls? Wanting to shut down the shop and quit the auto tinting and just work out of my home office. Dont really want film mailed to my home though in case im not there

I'm not sure... When I had a PO Box and I'd get a package that wouldn't fit, they would just leave a notice saying that I had a package and I just went to the counter to get it.

You could always have the film shipped directly to the UPS depot (if being shipped by UPS). I have it done like that if I'm doing a job the same day it's supposed to be delivered.... that way I can pick it up first thing in the am.

Or maybe the film co. can specify NOT to just leave the film if no one is there???

My UPS guy just leaves it by my door... but you can't see it from the street due to the way the deck is setup.

either set up a box at the "house" to put film in if not home, set up a location at a friends business to have it delivered to, or have it held at the Hub if not too far away. I use the "my choice UPS" and get an email alert when I have anything coming.....

Everything I've ever received has been thru FedEx. I think there is a FedEx about 15 mins from home. I'll give my film rep a call and see how to handle that. Ill see about it just being kept at the hub. Thanks guys, always helpful!
