why do some many window tinters install illegal window tint

why is it that when you come to this site you see the users showing a pic of illegal install tint. im just reading a post right now that says the users/tinter has air 80 on his whole windshield and a visor over the top of it. if you are doing for youself then you doing it for customers too. in my shop I only stock 35% and 20% film to do legal installs only if the customer doesn't like it they can move on down the road. im not going to get charged with 3rd degree felony in florida and lose my business to put a buck in my pocket to please someone else....

well no I just photoshoped the black on the windows to hide the people in the truck

lol, im not passing up on a job... ill spray paint the windows if they want... no receipt and cash is my philosphy... laws are diff from state to state, but im not giving the competition my work.. if you dont do it, I promice you, they will... and all their buddies... I shoot for the legal limit, but most ppl that request the illegal( hard to say illegal really with the statewide tint law differences) have had it done before... I prefer the legal jobs if that helps :D

Because people think that's the only way they can operate a business and they are afraid of their competition. I could care less if they go down the street. I actually prefer it, let them take the risk for pennies on the dollar. If I have to make a living by doing something illegal....then really how successful can I consider myself?

Sorry benski but that says a lot when you say you'd spray paint a window if they ask....where do you draw the line? I

Iike money and all but it is not my motivating factor like it is for you guys....just a shame.
