McCoyH
Just got an 8" squeegee with handle with my film from suntek. The squeegee blade seems pretty hard and has a pretty sharp/rough edge... im worried it going to scratch film (fg) and wrapping it in a paper towel seems impractical.... TintDude
What kind of squeegee?
808 TINT
If its that hard and sharp I would only use it for finishing the top edges.

coast2coasttinting
sounds like an older block style squeegee to me. Just keep some water on the film as you squeegee the film out. Use good firm preasure too. I perfer a channel squeegee with a blue max blade, but to eachs own.
McCoyH
I got a spare blue max with it. Should I just swap the blades out? Id just hate to scratch all the film and not see it till later

McCoyH
The thick white blade seemed to do fine, went back to inspect/touchup and everything looked great... I guess the film was tougher than I thought. thanks for the advice guys
