Hello

I need help/advice from anyone who had their car windows tinted or from a professional who does tinting.

I am not sure if I am posting in the right forum but I am from the U.K.

I've had my car all windows tinted 12days ago for £150, now it appears after closer inspection that there are like 100(more than 10 on every window maybe 50 on the rear windscreen) tiny specks/bubbles scattered on all of the windows. I then inform the company where I had it tinted and I was told to take some pictures of the bubbles and email it to them, after a few hours a tinter from their company rang me and told me that he'll do the rear windscreen only because I am very picky, he told me that tiny specks are normal and no company can do a perfect job, I then said a few maybe less than 10 could be reasonable, but a hundred is not acceptable.

I am going back to the shop on Monday to have that back windscreen redone, and he said he'll have a look at the other windows and I've got a feeling that he won't do the other windows, if thats the case can anyone please help me what to do.

Am I being reasonable or am I being picky? I am not really sure what a normal finish tint job suppose to be.

Is it normal to have more than 10 tiny specks on each window?

Many Thanks in advance

Sorry, that's still a link to skydrive with a url shortener. Nevermind the pics.

Do they look like white very small (pin head size) dots or larger whitish spots? If the later, they will dry, the former, you need to take it back.

Kinda looks like he just didnt get all the water pushed out before he let you leave with it. probably not much you can do now... next time when they redo it tell them to hardcard it a couple extra times (with a towel around the card obviously) to make sure all the water is out... Could be dirt specs, but they look a little too big to me to be dirt specs...

basically looks to me like he didnt get all the water out the first time, the water evaporated and is now an air bubble. I dout hell be able to push the air bubble out now without making a small slit or hole in the bubble to let the air out.

sorry again I thought you can still view the pics from skydrive even without an account as long as they are shared to public

anyway I uploaded the pics to photobucket

here is the link http://s1054.photobucket.com/albums/s485/ianne029/

most of them are pin head sized bubbles and there are like 3 or 4 larger ones

Yes they did let me leave with the tint looking very messy and wet. I was told just to leave it to dry for 2-3days and it will be fine. but now it ended up with these bubbles.
