tiny specks on all windows normal?

Hello

I need help/advice from anyone who had their car windows tinted or from a professional who does tinting.

I am not sure if I am posting in the right forum but I am from the U.K.

I've had my car all windows tinted 12days ago for £150, now it appears after closer inspection that there are like 100(more than 10 on every window maybe 50 on the rear windscreen) tiny specks/bubbles scattered on all of the windows. I then inform the company where I had it tinted and I was told to take some pictures of the bubbles and email it to them, after a few hours a tinter from their company rang me and told me that he'll do the rear windscreen only because I am very picky, he told me that tiny specks are normal and no company can do a perfect job, I then said a few maybe less than 10 could be reasonable, but a hundred is not acceptable.

I am going back to the shop on Monday to have that back windscreen redone, and he said he'll have a look at the other windows and I've got a feeling that he won't do the other windows, if thats the case can anyone please help me what to do.

Am I being reasonable or am I being picky? I am not really sure what a normal finish tint job suppose to be.

Is it normal to have more than 10 tiny specks on each window?

Many Thanks in advance

I am going to put my money on you being to picky.

If you have to try to find each spec. The job is fine. If the specs jump out at you while trying to look through the glass. Then it shoulb be redone.

Remember look through the film and not at the film. If you stair at anything for long enough, you will find flaws.

As professionals I would hope I could always spot things in my work that the customer would never even notice. I always work on the principle that if a customer can spot it and complain about it then I should do something about it.

We all get picky customers, that's a fact of life, but they are your customers and deserve some appreciation.

If there really is that many dots, its a crap job and needs to be redone, unfortunately, this may be their normal standards though. :evileye

Was this done in a shop or mobile in a carpark somewhere?

ianne - have a walk through a carpark and look at a few other tinted cars and compare them to yours. :cool
